This website
Website privacy
This static website intentionally uses no analytics, no advertising trackers, no account system, no contact form and no persistent browser storage. It does not intentionally set tracking cookies.
When the site is deployed, infrastructure providers may keep ordinary technical logs needed to serve, secure and operate the website. Their exact handling will be reviewed against the production Cloudflare and domain configuration before this policy is published.
The iPhone app

In the documented core flow, your label image, recognised ingredient text, corrections, matching, explanations and selected food-label region are processed on your device from bundled resources.
You do not need an account to scan. Label images are not sent to Label Lantern for recognition in that core flow.
Your choice
External source links
Opening an official external source is optional and requires connectivity. When you follow an external source link, you leave the bundled offline experience and the destination website applies its own privacy practices.
Current status
Before launch
Label Lantern is still in development. This privacy explanation describes the current documented product design, not a completed App Store release. It will be checked again against the release build and production hosting configuration before launch.
